This year, 2017, will mark Dave's 60th year of living year-round on the Lower Cape. A summa cum laude graduate of UMass/Amherst with a degree in English, Dave worked in the 1970s as a full-time Orleans "beat reporter" and Art Columnist for The Cape Codder newspaper; and as an advertising copywriter for, among others, a Fortune 500 client’s real estate division. He also worked as a Senior Buyer in the retail industry, which provided seasoning in "The Art of Negotiation".

Dave is a Realtor®, a Licensed Broker (a bonded highly-trained position above the Licensed Salesperson level),and holds the earned designations, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®,) and Certified Home Professional (CHP).He is a William Raveis "Senior Agent", a designation conferred based on seniority and exemplary experience in real estate; and is a Raveis Designated "Exceptional Property" Specialist earned through a record of steady Luxury Home sales over the past 12 years. He was a member of the William Raveis Chairman’s Elite Club in 2008, signifying "Top 100 Agents” in sales volume in a company of 2,800 agents; in 2010 and 2015 was a member of the Chairman’s Club, and in 2012 and 2014 enjoyed President’s Club honors. 

He has held the #1 position in the Orleans Office in Property Sales by Unit Volume (By Individual Agent/Non-Team) in 2013,2014, 2015, and 2016!

Dave and his wife Sandy currently live in South Eastham. Dave has also owned homes in Orleans and Brewster.

Surfing (since 1965), Stand-Up Paddling, golf, biking, reading, and 2 beloved Miniature Dachshunds are among Dave's hobbies!
