Specializing in, but not limited to the Orleans, Eastham, Brewster,and Harwich markets, Dave is a Licensed Broker,(a higher professional licensing standard than "Real Estate Salesperson" in Massachusetts) and holds the earned designation, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR).He has received valuable training from The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. He was the #1 individually ranked Realtor in sales volume in The Real Estate Company, with  8.65 million dollars in sales in 2008, and is also a member of the William Raveis Chairman's Elite Club for sales performance, placing him in the top 5% of the company' sales force of over 2,000 agents in 2008, a strong accomplishment in an admittedly difficult market. (The Real Estate Company was acquired in January 2009 by William Raveis Real Estate of Shelton, Ct.)

   2010 will mark Dave's 53th year of living year-round on the Outer Cape. A summa cum laude graduate of UMass/Amherst with a degree in English, Dave spent rewarding stints in the 1970s as a full-time Orleans "beat reporter" and art columnist for The Cape Codder newspaper, and later, as an advertising agency copywriter specializing in top-tier real estate accounts, including Gulf Oil Real Estate. He also spent many years as a Senior Buyer in the demanding retail field, which provided many years of seasoning in "The Art of Negotiation"!   

   Dave and his wife Sandy share their home in Eastham with three dachshunds.Their son Andrew is a recent graduate of Union College with a degree in Biology,and taught Middle School English in Kobe,Japan from 2007-2009. Dave's mother Connie taught elementary school in Orleans for 35 years and is well known locally for her work with dyslexic children. Surfing (since 1965), golf, and cycling are among Dave's favorite activities. He also volunteers with The Sampson Fund, a local charity that helps pets that might not otherwise receive Veterinary attention get the care they need. Dave has a robust record of sales expertise and client care, a quick intellect, and a ready sense of humor. His customers and clients have offered numerous testimonials to his work ethic, expertise, and invaluable "local knowledge".
